Lalon Shah is the most renowned and most familiar name of Bengali language. Today the influence of Lalon's mystic philosophy inundates the entire world. A number of excellent pieces of works have so far been carried on him and this trend gradually is increasing spontaneously. But all attempts to explore Lalon have been baffled. It just could be able to flash out a very little dazzle of a gigantic star. Initiatives taken on Lalon Fakir are mostly encircled to explore his racial identity ignoring his philosophical mastermind. And we think this is the weakest part of Lalon research. Therefore, we think, it is more important to explore Lalon's philosophy than that of exploring his racial identity. But in the same time it is equally important to know his personal life, because every philosopher's personal life carries the glimpses of his thought. So we should have focused on his personal life to explore his belief and way of life. Lalon's personal life is full of mystery and enigma. A lot of questions may be raised to his descend, caste, religion and family life, but nothing could unknot the riddle. In his lifetime and after his death those questions overshadowed his philosophy. In his lifetime Lalon again and again had to face the question about his caste and religion. But Lalon himself and his disciples no one disclosed his identity in respect of caste, clan and religion. Later on after his death researcher also tried to unknot the riddle but they remained in the deep darkness.
