I am passionately interested in both Bangla and English poems. The poems of great writers fascinate me very much. This book entitled “Immortal Ties” contain 48 poems on various topics. The ties between man and man, man and nature and man and the Supreme Being prevail in these poems. Some poems of this book were composed some years ago while most have been composed during the Coronavius crisis. Some poems composed on the Coronavirus pandemic disease or COVID-19 bear the horrible picture of this dreadful disease. One thing that predominates in most of the poems is love-love for mankind, love for the Supreme Being, and love for nature. I am grateful to my dear student Mohammad Zahir Uddin, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Brahmanbaria Government College, Brahmanbaria for scrutinizing the scripts of the poems. I express my gratitude to Asia Publications for expressing desire to publish this book. I have tried with my whole heart to make the book flawless.
