প্রফেসর আবু সাঈদ (Professor Abu Syed)

Professor Abu Sayeed was a teacher of Rajshahi University and was also nominated as Senate member. Elected with huge votes in the National Assembly election of the then united Pakistan in 1970. He was a great freedom fighter and Advisor in Sector-7 in the liberation war of 1971. He was a prominent member of the committee for drafting the constitution of Bangladesh. Professor Abu Sayeed is lifetime member of Bangla Academy. He was designated as Governor of Pabna district by Bangabandhu in 1975. A former StateMinister for Information, during 19962001 Awami League government.
