Scratch is a programming language developed by MIT in 2007, aimed towards helping children and adults alike learn to think creatively and get used to programming concepts in a fun and easy to understand manner. It is used by millions of children worldwide and is often used as a first introduction to programming for children. Using Scratch, children can create their own interactive animations, games, stories, and even advanced programs! This book is aimed at a beginner level with ages 8 and above. The intention behind this book was to try and make difficult concepts a bit easier for younger students to navigate and attempt to spark the same interest in them that he felt such a long time ago.
